Like number 2 the best as far as comp. I think it may be cropped a little to tight though. Imagine it would improve the image if the hands and guitar were not cut off.
Like the lighting and conversion on number one. However, his neck looks odd.. very long and thick. The mic looks really wierd as well, almost like he has it inside his mouth. Maybe a slightly different angle would help.
Overall, nice captures since this looks to be a performance which can limit your abilities to get the perfect comp and angle.

And yes, he did sing with his nose touching the mic, he did have the mic almost in his mouth.
