Super Harvest Moon over Iwo Jima Memorial

Hi guys,

Still working on the technique to blend exposures of the moon. I actually did this manually and didn't use photomatix etc. I was going for a slow shutter speed in the foreground so to show the motion of the flag and used a fast shutter speed for the moon to ensure its details (i.e., craters) remained.

i had a bunch of pics but chose this one quickly... theres probably a better comp in the bunch... but i wanted to get some feedback, if posisible, on blending techniques before i move forward with the rest.

The blend looks fine, but you cropped the bottom of the statue....it kind of kills it for me.

Thanks for the feedback. This particular shot I was going for a diff look for an easily recognized monument. Tried to concentrate on the moon and waving flag. I have other crops I will post. Thanks again
