Whitefaced Ducks
or Whitefaced Whistling Ducks as they used to be known.
Very pretty birds, but difficult to expose right because of the dark body and white head.
All taken with a Bigma at a bird sanctuary close to where I live.

I see there are some artifacts in these medium images from Smug. I have made the images clickable though

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I found the artifacts were caused by me somehow pressing ctrl+ (zoom-in) in Firefox. The problem was only on Dgrin

Thanks Lindiwe! I should put up another of the sequence of the last shot - the front bird was actually twisting its head listening to the shutter
