As a second part of my trip to Taiwan i visited the South of the country. There is still so much to see of Taiwan and i'm excited i'll probably go back in november :barbTaiwan is also called Formosa, meaning 'beautiful island' and i wholeheartedly agree!
1) Luishi Tenseng is a mountaineous region where they grow orange day lillies. Every year in august and september, the place turns orange and it's a wonderful sight.
2) Daylilly
3) Orange day lillies galore - In the background is a small pagoda where you could sit and soak up some peace (until a group of chinese mainlanders come by off course )
4) Workers picking the daylillies (and no, i dont need to clean my sensor, these were dragonflies! )
Next stop was Green island, a small vulcanic island off the eastcoast. Used as a prison island for a long period, it is now open for the public. Thank god!
5) It's breathtaking!
6) The water was crystal clear and perfect for a swim! :thumb(much to the amazement and entertainment of the taiwanese and chinese who do not go for swims and think europeans are very peculiar people )
7) one of the best moments was just waiting for the sun to set on the beach
8) Some people getting back from a diving trip as the sun sets
9) The sun finally set so i got the shot i was hoping for :thumb
Hope you guys enjoyed going to Taiwan with me for a moment I hope to go back as soon as possible and i'm sure i'll come back with another bag full of memories and photos.
Thanks for viewing!
