Anyone shooting with the Sigma 50mm f1.4 prime?

I'm starting to like shooting primes a bit more but only have the Canon plastic fantastic which isn't great re AF and not all that sharp open wide so I usually use it at f2.2 to be happy enough on the 5DmkII.

Anyone shooting with the Sigma to give some real world insight? It looks much better than the Canon 50mm f1.4 when wide and even a stop or so closed. I'm not looking for the best when stopped down but want the wider aperture sharpness.

Thoughts very much appreciated.

I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.

Each of the following were made with the SIG 50mm 1.4. Ok, so none of them are wedding related but if you're going to get any idea of the type of quality you can get out of this particular lens, does it matter? :) Nothing makes up for great light, sound ideas and some creativity...OEM or not!
