Last weekend I had a chance to shoot lovely Blake. She lives pretty far from me (deep in Mojave desert, next to the Joshua Trees NP), but she liked my work a lot and wanted to come for a shoot despite the distance.

    Great work as usual. I like #5 a whoile olot but I think you need to crop out everythin below the elbows where the gloves are. The lower portion seems cluttered and distracts from the simplicity of the upper part.

    Great set as usual. Of these I like #8 the best, but I think that the Red shoes need to be more red shoes - toned down a little. #7 Framed could also be a winner but something about her expression is distracting to me. I also am struck by the grace of #2 Blue Duo.

    Pretty amazing job, Nik. The breadth of styles and lighting you did in one shoot boggles my mind. It's hard to have a favorite here.

    Blake is lovely, and I hope we'll be seeing more of her in the future.

    It has been a longer than usual shoot (she came to TO for the whole day specifically for it), so we had a chance to cover a lot of ground, so to speak...

    I very much like the photographic work of ##7 & 8! Restricted colour, marble skin, rim lighting. For me a throwback to naughty Victorian postcards.

    I am ambivalent about the twins and triplets idea, too much of a good thing mebbe?

    I like a model, like this one, that can look like several different people, some of these are heavy rock chick, some classy whore, some antique studio actress.
