    Nice shot!
Did some nice fill flash work!!

Unfortunately it comes from too much Rap music.
If you have ever heard it.....there is nothing good with it.
Hopefully it IS just a fad.

Just wait until she "blings" your camera. It'll be covered in fake diamonds, and plastic gold... :)

Nothing good with it? Some people, myself included, enjoy hip-hop music. In fact, although there is plenty of negativity in hip-hop, there are also many good (positive) things in hip-hop.

FYI. "Hip-hop" is the musical style in which the vocals are "rapped". There is no such thing as "rap music." That would be similar to calling rock and roll music something like "guitar music" or "sing music."

Nonetheless, nice pic of a cute girl!

I disagree, there is such a thing as rap music, it is any music in which the vocals are rapped as you said, there is plenty of hip-hop that is not rapped, and even some country and rock that is rapped.

That's a blanket statement re: rap.

There's plenty of good in rap.

Why, "bling" can't be a bad word...until recently, if I recall correctly, smugmug used that word on their own help pages to refer to page customization!

i worked at a day camp this summer and my 7 and 8 year-old campers would do that. it's pretty funny. i'm assuming they all learned it from some movie or tv show that made a joke about bling and i'd love to pin point exactly what.

    great capture.

and in regard to rap. . . as much as i love rock/punk/alternative whatever, there's always a little room in my heart for jay-z and b.i.g.

Bling: describes jewellery which attracts attention because it is big and expensive, or describes a person who wears this jewellery.

The hand movements are basically like gang sign's their association with bling is basically how "bling" is handled. When someone whearing tons of bling (shiny, large, gaudy jewelry) they pose for photos showing off the bling on their fingers (her hands should really be filled up with rings), aroung their neck, on their teeth, in their hair, on their ears, on their cars (think dubs(chrome spinners), chrome, silver, accessories). Bling is the useless waste of money to show you can afford expensive gaudy jewelry that no one with good taste would wear. Or by adding tons of flashy shiny stuff to your cars, cloths, homes, etc etc etc.

The pimpzilla skin for firefox is loaded with bling.

P.S. If you think your camera equipment is expensive wait till she start's asking for real bling. Diamond encrusted watches, hats, sunglasses, rings, necklaces, etc.
