    Lovely shot. I would have cropped it closer so that the whole frame is filled with petals--no background.

    I mean I know how to do a crop but not how to do one that'll make this pic better... does that make more sense? ne_nau.gif

    Well, that gets a little subjective. As long as all you see is flower, I think it will work. Here's a sample:

    First pick an aspect ratio--I used 4 x 3 here, but I think 3 x 2 or 1 x 1 would also work. Set the crop frame smaller than flower, then move it around till you get something that pleases you. Here's a tip: when you're playing with the crop, don't forget that you can rotate the frame, as many flowers have no inherent orientation once the leaves and stems are out of the picture.

    This is a lovely shot, so I don't think you can go wrong.
