KEYWORDS-what is spam?

Hi everybody
I am about to write down the keywords for my images but there are few things I'd like to understand better.
The very first is:
-From SmugMug Help "The rookie mistake almost all photographers make is to spam Google with too many." OK, but how many are too many? 15? 20? 30? not more than 10?
-In choosing keywords should I remain as much pertinent to the image content as possible or is it advisable to broaden the range?
-Does the order keywords are listed matter or not (first=better Google index, last=less...)?
-Gallery keywords: do they work on Google searches or are they only functional to SmugMug search engine?
-From Help: "Search engines pick up the information in your homepage Bio box." What sort of information should be considered helpful in regards to Google?
I will probably have more questions about SEO but for now I better go stap by step :wink
Thanks
Fabio

    No suggestions?
I have been searching in the forum and couldn't find a specific thread about these issues but maybe my search was not accurate enough; if anybody knows about a thread that could resolve my questions (or some of them) please let me know.

Up to you. We allow up to 30.

lots of suggestions here. I just try to keyword naturally. E.g., panorama, sunset, arches national park.

Not as far as I know.
-Gallery keywords: do they work on Google searches or are they only functional to SmugMug search engine?
Yes they help with Google as well as SmugMug search.
-From Help: "Search engines pick up the information in your homepage Bio box." What sort of information should be considered helpful in regards to Google?

It will, but even more important than this is your homepage and site meta in your control panel, settings tab.
