Portrait of my friend Richard. The shoot was taken in Alchemia, famous PUB in Jewish part of Krakow city in Poland.

The photo was taken in natural light condition, coming from the small window.

Very nice capture, I love window light. I might suggest that his face appears a tad on the magenta side though he may very well be like that in person :-)

Richard is from New Zeland. On that day when we went to Poland it was hot and he sweats like a pig I know it is not an excuse - i should correct it in photoshop. Thank you reyvee61.

I like it. The lighting, composition, and background are all very well done.

He looks like someone who would be 1) fun to have a drink with and 2) best to have on your side in an argument that had turned physical.

I don't mean to say he looks like a troublemaker, just that in that pose he appears that he could take care of himself. Maybe it's a subconscious reaction to the crossed arms and the (lack of) hair. Gives me the impression of a no-nonsense bouncer/security at a club. But his face also has definite character. It's a nice shot, IMO.
