How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. Those yellow crested/capped herons don't show their smiling faces too often anymore? ne_nau.gif There use to be a lot of these birds before the 4 hurricanes from last summer. It's too bad they have flown the coop. :cry

Ben....... my backyard says it doesn't much like you , your TC or that Nikon mcahine gun you carry......either. rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif:D Thanks for looking.

    Nice shots, Bird Man.

You know how my birds seemed to have left. I was thinking that they say the birds leave before a storm.............

Maybe my birds and your NHs know something we don't. Where are they now? In california?

    How is your miniscus?

(Mine is kind of sore in both knees: it is a "pain" to get older)
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Thanks Ginger. Nice of you to take a looksee. I know the birds bail when a storm (hurricane) is approaching. It just seems odd that certain birds that use to be common....have vanished. I'm not sure where they went...or I might follow. :D

The knee surgery went well. The meniscus has been scrapped good..and hopefully I'll be chasing the chics..ughm birds soon. thumb.gif I had surgery on Friday moring and am already (somewhat) walking without crutches. I figure I'll be dancing by the end of the week. **fingers crossed** Thanks for asking. I'll agree..it's he** getting old. Another year is fast approaching. You all can take up a collection for that Canon 400mm f/2.8 for my B-day. You've got about 3 weeks. :):
