Thanks Ben. Not real thrilled with these BIF. Missed the exposure and think AF let me down a bit. Too soft 'n' fuzzy. I'll blame it on the fact these were taken early on in the learning process of the digi. That's my story....and I'm sticking with it. :Dumph.gif Anyone have any secrets for salvaging blown highlights? I tried some "burning". ne_nau.gifheadscratch.gif These BIF will be put into the "close but no cigar" folder. 1drink.gif

I have newfound respect for these egret shots. I used to think, "Oh, an egret, I see those all the time. So what?" But I tried to shoot some of the local egrets yesterday, and they didn't like me to get close enough to get even a bad shot.

    Nice!
    If not now, when?

Thanks. Birds are not really all that hard once you figure out how much sedative to slip into their fish. rolleyes1.gif Actually..I just sweet talk them into posing for me. That and the threat (flash 'em a glimps of it) of the 12guage usually does the trick. thumb.gif Keep on shootin' 'em. Sooner or later they get old...and slow down.

    Cheers

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
