Google Map Problem

Hey guys,

For some strange reason the map feature is no longer working on my site. I have dozens of geo-tagged photos that previously displayed when you clicked: http://maps.smugmug.com/?feedType=geoUser&Data=darrenhester

Now the map shows a default location (before it showed the state of Georgia) and no photos are displayed. I verified that the geography data still exists on the photos.

I recently changed from a custom domain back to http://darrenhester.smugmug.com . I deleted the old API key and added a new one to match the updated domain. Still no luck. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

    Hi Darren,

The issue I am seeing is that your site-wide settings may be set a little bit too tight. Even though your gallery settings have SmugIslands set to 'yes' and 'yes' for Hello Smuggers/World, there appears to be a conflict with your site-wide settings.

Those are accessed in the Control Panel under Settings. You'll see it in the Site-Wide Security line.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Thanks Kevin, I didn't even consider that setting. That fixed the problem. ;-)

    Appreciate the assistance!

    Kevin.
I tried setting "Hello World" and "Hello Smuggers" both to "Yes" and am still having the same issue. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

    Andy.
Sorry for the late reply. I had actually turned that on to test it but saw no change in the map feature so I turned it back off.
