Caught the morning light a few weeks ago. My Dad built a few of these swings with a good friend of his. Sadly...both men are gone now :cry
Needs a re-do -- hopefully next year I'll have time to do it. Wood is white oak. Lasted a long time, but think I'll use cedar when I re-do it. Still is nice to have a seat, rest a spell and read a good book

Haven't seen one of those type swing chairs in a long time.
Really love the last one, the Shadows on the Fence really shows
well.
It'd be a neat thing to restore and keep for a long, long time,
lots of Memories and I'd bet it really is comfortable.

Hi Craig --
I like the last one the best too along with the 3rd one. Not looking forward to restoring the metal, but it will look good when it's done.

That last one was neat looking. Had to wait for the sun to hit it just right before taking the shot.
The "project" -- it's going to be a doozie of one

and there. I stop in those moments and reflect things. Being a Dad and
especially now days.
Especially like the last picture
Dad's do like to build don't they. Lucky for me my Dad built me many treasures. Reflecting brings back many good memories
Last photo -- it was worth the wait.
