Colorado Colors

Spent last week touring Colorado and Mesa Verde National Park (I'll post the MVNP shots in a separate post.) The colors were mixed....some trees still green and some trees bare in they same area :dunno and very few clouds :bluduh Despite some of the frustration I managed to get several shots.

    The colors in #5 are spectacular. A sure sign winter isn't too far away.

    Thanks PD. I was lucky to run into some good color, but many of the spots I planned were not so good, but it's only my first time there, so there's always next year.

    It's one of my favorites. Here is another of the same subject, but a bit more wide to include a couple of aspens with carvings in them and also a lame attempt at a sunburst. What do you think between the two?
