I won* a photo contest!

The Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester NY had a contest for their 2011 calendar, and guess who won!?* :D

1200 entries (about 240 entrants), and they picked one of mine for a one of the third place entries. Of course, they picked what I think was my weakest entry, oh well.

*Won = one of 36 3rd place entries, printed in the December section in a space about 2" square. Oh well!

Anyway, if you're in the Rochester NY area, the calendars will be available at Wegmans, $9.95, 100% goes back to the zoo, and no, I don't get a cut.

They paid me off in ice cream, instead! :thumb

    I remember winning a contest last winter for Ottawa City, and the same: they choose what I least expected,
    and never considered a great photo... that's why I didn't even dare to show it here as a winner mwink.gif

    Well, if other people are happy with what we've done, I guess it's a good thing, and we should be proud for this :D
