Coastal Maine

I am on my annual visit to midcoast Maine. Not shooting as much as I usually do but I have gotten out a few times. Here are a few shots I've processed so far. C&C appreciated.

1. No coastal cottage is complete without Adirondack chairs! Should I crop some off the bottom?

2. We're just down the road from a lobster co-op; this was early morning

3. Five Islands Lobster Co. on Georgetown Island; shooting towards sun but I liked the comp and the rocks

4.

5. I wish I'd been on the boat instead of shooting the picture! This is on the Sheepscot River

Lovely shots Lauren. For the first one (the chairs - one of my favourite things to shoot too) I think I would crop it a bit tighter just so it's obvious that they are the subject of the photo - or move in closer and re-shoot (if today's wind doesn't blow you awayrolleyes1.gif)

I really like #4 (boats and buoys) - nice comp. And #5 says it all about fall!

Take care and have fun. Keep shooting!

Thanks, Ceci. I am hoping for decent weather today or tomorrow so I can reshoot the chairs--had already told my mom this morning "I haven't set up my chair shots." In the shot here, I really was shooting the trees more than the chairs; I just thought the whole scene was typical New England autumn. I do have one chair shot I will post later, just for you. :D

Thanks. I have one chair shot too - taken outside my farmhouse last year. Love those chairs to flop into and relax.:D
