Create Gallery in Trial Different Than Pro?

I'm helping a photographer I'll be working with set up his SM site to match mine. He's on the pro trial and I've got our sites looking the same, but I've noticed that creating a gallery in his account has a lot less options than in mine. :scratch Is this just a pro vs trial thing or something else? :scratch

Any assistance appreciated.

All new accounts have different first create gallery screen, it's simpler & easier when they start off. You can do all the same stuff in gallery settings. When he signs up, he'll see all the other options available on create gallery.

This kinda makes sense, but when I'm a pro trying to get another pro up to speed, the limited options are actually a hinderance. I mean, the point behind a trial is to see exactly how things will work.

Perfect example was me trying to show him that once we set up the standard quick setting for galleries, all he has to do is make sure he selects the quick setting when creating the gallery. Uhhh...no option on his end, so I couldn't show him that at all, and doing it in the gallery settings was cumbersome to say the least.

I understand easing the learning curve for the new users, but if someone has elected to have the trial at the pro level, I say give it to them. thumb.gif

When I just set up a new account for a charity organization, I noticed that the create gallery UI is different for the first gallery created (when you have no other galleries yet) and as soon as you already have one, it's the same that we're used to. That may be what Andy was trying to say and what you're seeing. I don't think it has anything to do with trial vs. non-trial, just creating first gallery vs. subsequent galleries.

Hmm...that's interesting. Because he had already created 3 galleries and populated them and we were creating a fourth and fifth. headscratch.gif Oh well, maybe just a glitch. Glad to know better how it all works. thumb.gif

Thank you. So exactly when should each of these screens be seen? And when would the regular pro screen be seen?
