Thinking about the feasibility and potential pros and cons of that is making my head hurt.

Best pro I've come up with? Maybe we will be able to run Photoshop on Ford cars and trucks equipped with the Sync system. What better way to spend your time in traffic than processing your latest images?

Worst cons (a work in progress, please feel free to add your own):
    • Photoshop popping up confirmation dialogs every time you do anything to an image - "Are you sure you want to add a Levels Adjustment Layer to this image?"
    • the Office paper clip thing in every CS application
    • draconian anti-piracy software authentication system added to Creative Su... oh yeah, it already has that

If that happened, I'd probably never buy another Adobe product.

But the word on the street is that both companies have denied the rumor.

One of the wags on Slashdot suggested that if it's a merger, the new company will be called Microbe.

D'you mean, "Adobe, if I didn't think your stuff was the greatest, damn me if I'd ever buy anything from you again FLIPA.gif?" Oh, and please don't tempt me with CS6 and Lightroom 4. I'm already broke.

No. I meant if it happened, I would probably not buy anything from Adobe. There could be many reasons. Or not.

MS would finally have the vaulted PDF directly under its OS. I am about to get a CS5 suite, but by the time this news is confirmed or denied, I might change my mind.
