I decided to rent a lens and a battery grip, for the next wedding I have, from borrowlenses. I got the sigma 50-150 2.8. They arrived on Wednesday, the box was looking really rough but it was packaged very well. I went home and checked everything out and worked great. I have only been able to play with it for a couple hours but I am in love with this lens. I told my husband, "It is wicked sharp." I can't wait for this weekend to take more pictures! Thanks borrowlenses for letting me try a lens I can't afford!!:barb

Glad to hear it! For what it is worth we've adopted a more rigorous box reusing policy :)

Ok, had my 2 weeks with my rentals..I did not get to use them enough but I am in loooove! I have to send that back today and am sad. That battery grip was a lifesaver, I never had to change my batteries once during the entire wedding coverage. That lens, well, Matthew was right. I didn't doubt him, but that will be my next lens...FOR SURE! I used it for all of the ceremony, and most of the reception. Only time I really switched was for detail shots with my macro and wide shots. Thanks borrow lenses for letting me experience 2 things I could not afford at the time. I will be getting those again for my next wedding!! I will post some pictures in the wedding thread when I remember. I have a couple on my facebook but aren't high resolution and get gross during the conversion. So, I loved them, did I mention that? Did I mention I love borrow lenses? Even more so that they use fedex! Sad to see my toys go.
