I've just become addicted to my other girlfriends
    85 1.2
    135 2.0
    35 1.4
    17-40
I do still lust after the 400L but can't justify the cost versus use.
I have learned how to minimize the impact of paying $2.75 a gallon for gas though, invest your money in oil stocks and when the price of oil goes up you cheer. Hopefully they continue their upward trend and I won't look at the cost of the 400L and can stop lusting after the other woman

It's been awhile since I used it so I will use it tomorrow for a couple of shots.
I don't remember any noise issues or focus hunting issues. It is sharp, I've been lucky I guess
none of the glass I currently own have back/front focus issues. Knock on wood! Do I think you would
be happy with it, absolutely, I just don't use it and it's time to move on. (takes up space and I'm a minimal type person especially when I pack up 2 50D's and a 1V HS, the lenses, tripod and an IPAD. I feel like a pack mule at Yellowstone. Hiking 2 miles with 50lbs of gear is not as fun at 51 as it was at 21.
