    typical in-camera settings for jpgs:

    color = real
    contrast = low
    sharpness = lowest

    i preferred to do contrast and sharpness in photoshop.

    the 828 is an extremely capable camera, high quality optics, exccellent zoom range, very well-built, wonderful image quality.

    i used the smalled af mode - sometimes using the joystick to move my af point to where i needed it.

    never ever used digital zoom

    i forget about expanded focus, sorry headscratch.gif

    AF Mode says Single....Monitored or Cont

    Digital zoom says Smart or Precision
