Captions and keywords disappearing

Good morning
I have uploaded my photos into this album - http://lesleybray.smugmug.com/Travel/Queensland-Australia/Cheepie-Quilpie-and-Windorah/13859674_hJZCg - my captions and keywords were already in the meta data before uploading.
Everything was fine until today when I decided to add some information to the captions and keywords in Smugmug through Edit Captions and Keywords.
I save my work regularly as I go and find that some of my captions and keywords are now blank. Others are partly blank (part of the caption has disappeared).
I rewrite them in and save again only to find they have reverted to blank or partly blank again or another photo caption is now blank - for instance this caption http://lesleybray.smugmug.com/Travel/Queensland-Australia/Cheepie-Quilpie-and-Windorah/Coopers-Creek-6246/1036163237_kad73-M.jpg
Please help! This is frustrating. Thank you

After more attempts I finally got the caption and keywords to stay in - not sure what is up with this! Will continue on with my work and hope I don't lose any more.
