#2 conjures images of Al Capone. #3 makes me think of Medusa.

15524779-Ti.gif I think #1 would look better if you crop it square, eliminating the left. There are some great expressions there, but they get a little lost in the bright clutter. #2 looks like it's right out of a gangster movie. Love it.

This is a really good set. Any one of these photos can stand on their own. As a set, I like 1, 2 and 4. While 3 is a very good photo in and of itself; the others seem to have "older era" costumes, but the police are modern day. Again, I'm glad you shared 3, it is a very good photo (all 4 are), it just doesn't fit for me.

Liz, #2 could be a frame out of The Godfather. I love it!

    Yes!!!! Glad I nailed these.
#2 is my favorite of these as well, it's my "sleeping with the fishes" shot.

Thanks guys--very much. I have about 300 more shots of the actual parade, but it's the pre parade action that makes me go there and take photos. I was giddy!

During the parade I took the standard shots which I'm happy with and it's what "they" (the dancers and the group organizers want), but I did manage a couple PJ shots anyway. I will post those to this thread, there's only 3 more I'd consider PJ. I'll put another post in "people", but I'll likely get roasted because technically they need some help.

Richard, here is a re crop--you think it's better? You know me and cropping rolleyes1.gif.

Juano--that was a great and succinct compliment:)

ok 2 more from the actual parade.
I like the juxtaposition in this one. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
(Richard, when I saw this background I thought about you and some of your shots and planted my feet for about 5 minutes hoping something would come along that would make it work. I hope I got it.

Nice set, Liz - But where's the photo of your Republican candidate for Gov. watching a gay pride parade? That's the one I want to see. clap.gif
