Great day at the track

A little local MX action here in Boise. This is Ben Evans, pro mx racer at his home track (that he hasn't raced for a while)

Photo is straight out of the camera, no post. So pretty to watch.

Edit: It's not. What do you use for image hosting? On my screen this shot is perfectly crisp.

To my eye it looks like the plane of sharpest focus was just in front of the bike and rider. Notice how the knobs on the tires seem sharper than the areas around the handle bars or the rider's helmet. Also, there looks to be some pretty sharp detail on the top of the berm, just to the left of the rear tire in the picture.

Can't explain why it would look sharper on different sites. Each photo hosting site will use slightly different sharpening values, but there should not be enough variation to make a huge difference.

I am seeing the same. It is a little out of focus. But, it is a great shot. Could be a hosting issue, I have seen some images degrade from uploads to some places. I am using SM too. It isn't free, but you get what you pay for.
