"Old time" feel?

Need some input

I had the pleasure of having a session with 16 month old triplets.

Yes you heard me. LOL. I'm sure I dropped 20 lbs chasing them around in these beautiful gardens I got to shoot in, so I know the secret to weight loss - multiples!

The mother had requested that the photos have a vintage feeling. "Old time" look was the exact request. I've played around a lot with photoshop actions and I finished the first one up.

Do you believe this has a vintage feel? I'm not sure I'm sold on it.

It has that hand-tinted vintage look, but still a contemporary feel. I like it.

Don't worry. I can fix you in photoshop.

Thank you! I guess it's not the usual brightness I'm used to so that's what is giving me reservations about it.

OK... may just be me but I'm a little spooked by this one. Don't know if it's her expression, the pose, the eyes or a combo of all but it is giving me heebie-jeebies.

    BTW, looks cross-processed to me.

Nice shot and the processing, IMO, makes this one!

Thanks guys! I tried a few variations and this seemed to be the only action I did that actually 'felt' old to me. I sent a sneak preview to the mother, so I'm awaiting the verdict on if that's old time-ish to her or not. :)
