Mono Lake and Vicinity

Have wanted to spend some time at Lee Vining for a while now. Spent the weekend there exploring the area. Never have seen so many photographers in one area at one time before. Workshops and college photo classes had converged for fall colors, Bodie and Mono Lake. Not much for crowds so I avoided Bishop Creek and North Lake. We still had a great time and had wonderful weather, seen places I had not seen before and that is what I like the most. Fall color had peaked at higher elevations 9000ft still a lot of green at the lower areas 7000 so the next few weeks should be great.
