Found this compost fly running around on a compost bin lid with a pseudoscorpion firmly attached by one pincer to an upper leg. The fly tried everything to get it off to no avail.
The pseudoscorpion just wanted a lift to another compost heap but seemed to have picked the wrong aeroplane - it was too overloaded to take off.
All crude hand focus stacks. The pseudoscorpion is about 2mm body length.
