I lack the glass to do a shot like this justice, and I lack the intestinal fortitude "spelled GUTS" to get any closer.

Thanks for commenting....... The shot was taken with a Nikon 80x200mm f2.8. I have a D90, so it would have been taken at 300mm. The pic. was taken at Yellowstone and I was standing on the road. I saw two bears and they were both a reach for my equip. :D

Sweet! Any Grizzly capture in the wild is a good one, Gary! I'm green with envy.

    Hey Bawana Gary,

I'm with you....that's close enough. You got yourself a terrific shot.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Big bear alright. :Dmwink.gif:D Nice you got pictures. thumb.gif Looks to be a lot of
good sized fallen tree debris between you both.

I've only seen one this big, with very similar fur color, once in the wild.
100 yards or so out. A good fast flowing stream between my campsite
and the bear. Eventually it wondered off up the steep hillside.
Seemingly not the least bit interested in me. I stayed interested in it
all weekend but never saw it again. No pics

Was recently shown this Canadian Bear Warning Sign lol3.gif Maybe you've seen
    it too

Thanks Joel........I've seen two bears in the wild. One was in a Grizzly in Yellowstone and a Black Bear south of Tucson while ridding a horse.
