The trees are tough as nails - they have to survive:

Look at the normal water line level - courtesy of mather nature:

This guy just picked the wrong stream: The greenish tint is ash dry vegetation:

jindabyne and the surrounding high country up there is very awesome.

Spent lots of time up there skiing when I was younger...i really really want to get up there for some photography.

Looks cold....and amazing. I've always wanted to get down to Jindabyne/Thredbo area to learn how to ski one day but never have. Your pictures have just rekindled the urge.

Hey John
It was hard not to include a person - there was someone there all the time. Walking away in a distance with the shadow poiting towards the person I though it was an acceptable compromise.

As for the fish, on the day we were there you could catch 50-60cm (almost 2 feet) trout with bear hands.

Thank you very much. I wish I had more times for photos there but I love skiing just a bit more for these 7 days a year.

rahmonster, I love skiing. I am not a sporty person but I can ski. I'd encourage any one to give it a try - it's a thrilling experience.

Thanks Gaurav. I rarly post anywhere these days. Too busy at work and I seldom have the opportunity for photography. It took me a while to decide to post on STF. I still think its good forum but you need to be very selective with what you read and reply to.
