I decided to drive out to Mount Rainier on Sunday and take a gamble that it wouldn't be pouring when I got there. As it turned out, the rain let up before I got there. The fog, however, was quite thick. Here are some shots...

Very nicely done, I love fog. I think the trees in 2 and 6 are really interesting and their odd angles make those my favorites. And that grouse needs a hair dryer.

Superb! The fog adds an element of distinction with these - not just your average foliage shots. When I was in the White Mountains a couple of weeks ago, we had low-lying valley fog that did the same thing. woo hoo!!

Thanks! Those trees are what drew me to take those particular shots. I thought they made an interesting background.

Thanks for all the comments! It was definitely a nice, peaceful day there. There were people around, but it was still relatively deserted compared to a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed walking around in the fog getting these shots.
