Red admiral butterfly zoom series

Had a nice red admiral butterfly in the garden the other day- not seen that many this year. Zoom series all taken with an MPE-65 lens - first 3 shots with a 2XTC on the front. Taken in fairly strong sun, last shot with a little fill flash

I saw the butterfly title I got so excited(I need to get a life lol)I love them beautiful!!!set of pics I tryed to take some pis of some yesterday we have this tree they seem to be attracted to it(dont know why their must of been 12 to 15 of them all on this tree) well jug hornetts live in the tree so I didnt attempt it any closer got a few pics need a bigger lense to get them closer cause I didnt want to lol

Brian, each time I see the capabilities of the MPE-65 lens it makes me think about putting on my life vest and jumping from the good ship Olympus, notice I said think about. good demonstration
