    I saw this and thought just one more thing for me to pack. Then I realized that it might not work for me as an amateur. I can go through a battery and card and still want to keep using the camera.

    It would be really cool if you could place just a battery onto this and have it charge. Then you could take this into the field with 2 batteries; once you drain one you can place one on the charging station and use the other while the dead one's charging. But, like the 4k camera and 120MP sensor, I seriously doubt Canon will be making this anytime soon.:cry

    really cool!
    It is great for heavy users but just too big for travelling.

    I think what I need is just smaller box (may be the size of an portable Harddisk) with the wireless downloading, charging the battery and possible to story a 100G photos on the road.

    Yeah, that'd be great if it were smaller and could store photos on it. Just leave it in your bag, wirelessly transfer images to it during the shoot, no need for mem cards.
