Sitting in the airport awaiting my (delayed) flight home from Maine, so I thought I'd post a few shots for your perusal. Enjoy! C&C welcomed as always! As I look at these, I realize they quite resemble some of my Maine shots from last year....maybe it is time to visit someplace else. :rofl

1. Morning frost - I think I have some shots that don't cut off the edges of the leaf but they can't beat this color!

2. Birch bark

3. Morning frost #2 - no more sunflowers

4. I liked the balance of acorns on each side, and the color of the leaf is true to what I saw!

5. I liked the yellowish rocks here

I guess you don't get leaves like that in Texas! ; D Wanna come rake mine? I got tons just like that in the yard. Acorns, too.

Glad you're enjoying Maine. I like your birch bark photo. Nice work.

Hey Lauren. Sorry we couldn't connect this trip. Maybe next time? I'm dying to show you the waterfalls I've found! Now I just have to get out there and shoot them before what's left of OUR foliage disappears. We're past the peak now, sadly.

Your red maple leaf is stunning in its clarity and brilliance. Nice.

On the rock picture - did you get down low like Marc showed us?

    Hi Lauren,

I'm liking this compilation very much.....particularly the varying perspectives you worked with. The bark shot and the rock shot are especially appealing to me.

    Take care my friend,
