I had roughly 10 minutes to kill in the Gion district in Kyoto yesterday so I thought I would snap a few off. Just wish I was always this productive =)

I like the contrast of the women (geisha?) in traditional costume with those in modern clothing. Keep posting as we see very little from Japan in this forum.

I would love to see some of your shots taken much closer to the subject if you are so inclined to get bolder with your camera.

Ya, I have a bunch more, I will post them soon. Don't really want to get too close when they are just walking down the street, might have to use my zoom lens next time. Thanks for liking the shots though =)

These are all very nice shots! I like how they all capture some part of the life there. Thank you for sharing, Tensai-riot!

I couldn't see the photos the last time I stopped by.

I can see them now and enjoyed them all. I particularly like #2.

Ya, I like that about the shots as well. It is a very small area, but has many aspects of the life there. Very interesting.

    ... I'm still peeling potatoes.
