I know it dissapears if you don't move the mouse but is there a way to get rid of it all together?

I would like to use the mouse to click on the slide advance buttons without the filmstrip appearing.

Please help.

Thanks!

Allen

Hi, We have lots of different types of slideshows - where, exactly do you mean on your site? Please give a link to the page. Thanks!

I know for sure that this happens in the regular gallery slideshows, and am just chiming in because I was about to ask about it. When you use the buttons to move to the next slide, the filmstrip overlaps your photos by a lot-- like a couple inches if they're large. And it stays there the whole time you're using the buttons. It would be great if the filmstrip action could be detached from the button actions-- there's no reason that I can see for them to be connected in this way (for the user I mean). I noticed we can now use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move through the slideshow in galleries... but not on homepage slideshows. If you use the keyboard arrows instead, the filmstrip doesn't show up (yay!). But lots of people don't realize they can use the keyboard.
