Slideshow: not all my chosen photos are showing up

I tagged several photos in different galleries with a keyword. Set my slideshow to show the photos. In 'owner view' all the photos appear to be there, but when I switch to 'visitor view' only 2 photos appear in the slideshow.

I use Firefox browser but also tried Explorer and have the exact same issue.

Would appreciate assistance. Thanks!

For keyworded photos to show up to the public in a slideshow using a keyword feed all of the following must be true:

• The gallery the photos are in must be public (not unlisted or password protected)
• The gallery must allow indexing (SmugIslands settings)
• The gallery must allow external linking (I think)

If all of that is done, sometimes it just takes a little while for Smugmug indexing to catch up to keyword changes.

Thanks John. My photos meet all the parameters you listed. I did a work-around by 'collecting' the photos and putting them in a new gallery. It appears to work that way.
Then I direct the slideshow to show photos from that gallery.

This was a time consuming process as I could not simply 'collect' all the keyworded photos (again, they are in multiple galleries). I had to collect each one individually....choosing the category>gallery to put them in each time.

I found that I could select multiple photos for 'collecting' if they are in the same gallery, but not by keyword.

Unless I am missing something, that is. which is entirely likely.
