I picked up the Nikon D7000 today and took a few sample shots and posted them on my blog. You can see the larger images on the blog link

That's great but lets see some high ISO. That is what I want to see from it that thing. Is it as good as the rep says it is? Can you do some ISO 6400 shots with it and post em up?

I've had my D7000 for about 3 weeks. It is the third in a string of Nikon Digital Cameras (D1, D70s and now D7000). I'm absolutely blown away. I shot about 400 low key (no flash) shots at ISO 3200. Zero detectable noise -- great color and EV range. The files are large (17MB) and only seeing the large image can you really appreciate the image quality.

This camera is everything the most enthusiastic reviewer has said it is. I look forward to trying to find its limits.

I'm processing on an iMac with two 27 inch monitors and 16 GB of RAM and CS5.

The price point for this camera and its seeming durability with the magnesium frame and long life shutter makes it a great value.
