How to track bugs and know when to expect a fix?

How can we track bugs and know when they should be fixed? There doesn't appear to be any method to do this currently and I am losing faith that issues get fixed in a timely manner.

I recently signed up for Smugmug and started creating my gallery at www.markandtracy.com. I intend to use lots of keywords and I want to create a couple of dozen keyword based smart galleries. Unfortunately, I then discovered the break mentioned on this thread: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=158660 which derailed all my plans. Having found that thread and realizing it has been broke for 7 months I put all my plans on hold hoping the issue might get fixed some time soon. But, seeing that you haven't fixed it in 7 months why should I expect it to get fixed any time soon. I don't want to spend any more time or effort using Smugmug if this issue is never going to be fixed. Not to mention, I am sort of wanting my money back.

Bubba, I am afraid we do not offer a bug tracker. We do not detail when things may be fixed as plans change. Sometimes there are delays that would prevent us from meeting promised deadlines for a fix. There are also times when it is better to redesign the system than to fix a problem. Instead of just fixing one bug a redesign may correct several. We are working to get the smart gallery issue you mentioned resolved. I am sorry that I cannot tell you when that will happen.
