What a hoot...a great catch, Gary. Very colorful. You still see Elvis stuff in all kinds of places and the stuff SELLS.
I got to meet and party down with Elvis ( and his Memphis Mafia ) on two different occasions ....one in '71 and again in '72. My first wife's aunt wrote one of Elvis's first big hits....Heartbreak Hotel.... and she remained a close friend of his the rest of his life. She was the one responsible for arranging the party time with Elvis. Her son....my wife's cousin....was a pretty big star himself: Hoyt Axton.

WOW......got to party with the King:ivar I remember Hoyt Axton. I googled her, it said she started out a school teacher, and wrote 200 songs of which 14 made the charts...... Thanks for commenting Tom.......:Dgary
