Questions about Domain Name

I have a P-User account and plan to change to a Domain name that I will start using on Smugmug, just a standard type of .com like www.myname.com

My questions are:

Will old links to sjlpics.smugmug.com, such as in past comments left by me, or where people have me linked in a favourite, etc, still work?

And, by extension, will both addresses work concurrently or is it one or the other?

    Both work concurrently even though your custom one is the one that should be used 90% of the time. I've seen bugs where various SM functions use the SM name instead at times.

    I haven't been able to narrow it down exactly yet, but I've seen it resort to the SM name when leaving the upload screen to the gallery via the link at the top. I need to do more experimentation to nail down the exact scenario under which it can re-produced. But there's too much other work to do right now...

    I believe we've fixed all of these. If you find a reproducible case, please post it in the bug forum thank you.
