I took these pictures of Pretoria in May, when I was still getting used to the camera. These were taken with the kit lens.
The complex in the centre of the pic is the main campus of the University of Pretoria.
The South African Bureau of Standards. Notice the Moire patterns created by the windows/window ledges. Interestingly, these are not visible on 100% crops of the original.
A teleccom tower, with the education campus of the University of Pretoria in the foreground.
The University of South Africa - one of the largest correspondence universities in the world. A part of downtown Pretoria is visible in the background.
