So Saturday night we held a 70th birthday party for my mother-in-law, Sweetie.
While I tried to be the hostess with the mostest, I also decided to wear my camera all night (like a necklace) because otherwise I know I wouldn't have managed shots.

Sweetie is big into mood lighting, which means all the lights were pretty dim and no flash was used, so most of the photos are soft and grainy--which I don't mind, but :scratch.

6.I scanned some of her old photos and framed and put them through out the place--this is my favorite--There is really something to be said about candid shots no? I know it's posed, but I just love this photo of her/them.

Liz: Great shots - all of them - but #4 is my fav. - Four people looking one way and the center person in a complete different direction. What did she see? What caught the other four's attention? One can only sumize - as we are told this was a party.

4 and 5 are great, and of course #6, love those old shots!

A good time is obviously being had by all. #4 stands by itself as a worthy photo. I like the way you framed #5 with each kid at a corner.

    Thanks all,
I also think #4 is the clear winner-but I did want to make a small series out of the event.

I also cracked up on #5--brings back memories of my childhood and going to parties with my parents.

Ed--I have looked at the entire album and at the 5 or 6 shots I took of my mother in law infront of her cake with the grandkids and for the life of me I can't tell what any of them are looking at---I was right in the thick of it and missed it rolleyes1.gif.
