Okay so a girl I work with wants me to shoot some of her family photos. My only concern is most people who do family photos have younger kids. Her kids are teenagers so I'm trying to think of activities to go do and locations to shoot. Suggestions?

Myabe ask if they have any particular hobbies or interests (if they like any sports, have them bring a ball along or other props; if Gramma does needlepoint, have them bring along something she's working on, etc), and what kinds of settings the client (lady you work with) is looking for, and go from there? Check out any great parks in your area, as outside pics can be really nice this time of year in a lot of places, and you can get some nice 'interaction' pictures of how the generations are together somewhere like that too, no matter if the kids are teens or not. I've found the best way to get ideas is sometimes to really have open conversations with the client in question before the shoot ever takes place.
