Is it a Submarine?

By now, I'm sure you have concluded that one of my favorite birds is the Pied-billed Grebe.

They look so delicate floating on the water surface....

They seldom display any form of violence...

They do not appear to be aggressive...

But what impresses me most is how strong and fast they can swim under water looking for food or running from danger. Is it a Submarine?

    These are one of my favs thanks to youre photos I really like these little birds they are sooooo cute I would love to see one in real life:)You took a great sets of photos what parts of the states do they spend their time do they migrate?I could just go look on the net huh lol:)

    They are found from Canada south to Texas & Florida and southward. Those residing north of Kentucky where the lakes freeze over do migrate. Our Florida population increases during the winter season.
