D7000 arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My local Nikon Dealer where I had prepaid order called me today. They had received D7000 with 18-105mm kit. The gave me an option of taking all or breaking up the kit since I wanted body only. I pick up the D7000 and a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 instead of the kit lens(i have been wanting that lens for a while now).
Only drawback right now is extra batteries, new version for this camera. I did a search online the other day and could not find them. Dealer did not have any yet either.
Have to shoot a concert tonight so I will give it a try out.

Letting battery charge while reading manual.
First impression is good it feels good in the hand which I was worried about. I have big hands and love my D300. Just have to get use to the button layout. Slightly different. I can live with that.
