How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Well done Harry. Nice set of pics. thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif I'm still looking for some mermaid shots from you. :uhoh I had a bunch of kingfishers in my backyard...but didn't feel like taking the camera out of the bag. I figured you had seen enough of these red eyed birds. :):

    Later 'Gator.

    Very good photos, Harry!

Are you expecting some rain, too?

I mean why do you have all the birds when Fla is looking at a tropical storm?

Whatever the reason, very good treatment and shooting!

Thanks Mike. Not to worry about those kingfishers. Jeff and Ben are probably shooting hundreds of kingfisher shots as we speak. rolleyes1.gif

That's what I'm worried about. You did make it clear you meant "shoot" as in taking photographs....and not for providing dinner? eek7.gifne_nau.gifheadscratch.gifthumb.gif

I'm sure they'll both flash those poor kingfishers and then they'll be useless and blind as bats. rolleyes1.gif

That storm getting you ...over on the East coast ?? Looks like rain here in a few.

Not to worry they are more dangerous with their cameras than they ever would be with shotguns. rolleyes1.gif

That's a safe bet. I have filed a report with PETA about their activities. naughty.gif

Looks like tropical depression 16 is heading for us (probably will land a bit north of us). Not a big deal but it looks like rain through Friday. :cry I had a couple of folks coming up for a shoot on Thursday and it looks like we will have to cancel.

    Hey Ginger,

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the shots. Looks like we will have rain for the next few days. Nornakky we get one to two showers a day in this season but they are usually very short. Today was the first day we had rain all day and it looks like we have a tropicals torm headed our way so the rest of the week looks kind of wet.

The birds don't heed the weather that much. They season in their habitual areas. The nesting birds return at the end of the nesting season and the migratory birds start arriving in late September.
