I have made a watermark but have had many problem implementing them. For example the first several photos in this gallery show "PROOF" Instead of the watermark I created. If you go to the last few photos it is displaying the correct watermark.

The watermark you set under gallery settings will only apply to new uploaded
photos. Any existing photos use tools > many photos > watermarking and
select all, set watermark. It could take some time for them to change
depending on how many are in the que.

    Hi Griggs,

I'm a SmugMug Support Hero, and am happy to help you here. When you change a watermark setting, it's always best to use your Gallery Tools. Watermarking can be found under Many Photos, More. Just select all, and choose the watermark you want to apply.

It takes a few minutes to change all of the images in a gallery, since each display copy is marked. I'd initiated the application of your Derek watermark for you. Our proof mark appeared, again.

Please note there is one image in that gallery too small to accept the watermark. Images need to be at least 801 pixels on the long side.

What I found is that your watermark images are very small (134x35). They really need to be larger to be seen, or be effective. Our tutorial suggests one that worked well for Andy was 1600 x 200. Look here: http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1690196

If you're still having difficulties, we'll also be happy to help you via email, too. Just go here: http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal

    We're here for you!
