    Brilliant photo--so many stories could be made up.
    Well on my part I think the shorter lady is about to cover her hears from an onslaught of loud noise.
    The taller lady looks like an alien she's so slender--not being mean, just reminds me of the silhouette of an alien (as seen in movies--yes I watch too many movies).

    Your processing always makes me drool a little.

    I appreciate our comments Liz. They mean a lot to me. Your love of high contrast b&w has been an inspiration to me.

    Love your interpretation of this photo - though it is way off base. No loud noises in the offing.

    Looks to me as though the one on the right is on the way to blocking her ears. Demonstrations near by?

    That's OK BD. Not everyone likes everything.

    No demonstrators nearby.

    I'm surprised in a way that you haven't read the body language.

    Though perhaps there is not enough context.

    The tall willowy gal looks ready to pirouette. She certainly has a dancer's body. The other gal is about to fluff her hair. Is hair adjustment like yawning? When one person does it...

    The tall person is abut to fix her long hair - see spiffs of it down her back. The other person is saying "...she did her long hair up in a bun with pins at home - your only choices now is to knot it in a pony tail. It will look o.k. but not as good as mine does".
