I have been getting reports of American Bitterns being observed at the Viera Wetlands. Today I came across one........

    Beautiful!
They manage to do a fine job of imitating the reeds, don't they?

Went back to Viera this morning to see if I could find the American Bittern. Well, I found it, but I was so close that I could not get the whole bird in the frame. The Tamron 200-500mm is not always your friend.....
